The term 'Orange Wine' has become a hot buzz word in the wine industry lately! It refers to white made with extended skin contact. This process can impart unique flavor and texture to the wine. While orange wine seems to be exploding on the wine scene right now, the process dates back thousands of years to the Republic of Georgia.

Heinrich "Naked" Orange
Heinrich "Naked" Orange
This wine can indeed call itself ‘orange’, though far more delicate and tender than the buzzword ‘orange’ might suggest. Like biting into a juicy tangerine.
Naked orange comes from both sides of Lake Neusiedl in Austria. In the west from the slopes of the Leitha Range, where the vines grow on limestone and slate. East of the lake from the gravelly Parndorfer Platte and its south-facing slopes with calcareous sedimentary soils.
