Wine 1: Isle St Pierre Rose
Although the Isle Saint Pierre wines come from the very southern stretches of France, they display wonderful freshness and aromatic appeal. At harvest, as soon as the grapes enter the cellar, they are cooled to a temperature below 16°C. The whites are pneumatically pressed and gently release their juice free of any oxidation, thus retaining their aromas. The rosé harvest undergoes a short skin maceration with complete control of process timing, producing a rosé exclusively from free-run juice. For the red, complete fermentation of the sugar takes around five days, followed by a maceration period which varies depending on the grape variety.
Domaine Isle Saint Pierre is our answer to lively, vibrant quaffers that over deliver at every turn. Delicious, easy-drinking “bistro-style” wines that are perfect for everyday drinking!
Wine 2: Benguela Cove Rose
Delighted to offer this South African rosé wine from Benguela Cove. This Rosé champions Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc as signature grapes for this cool terroir, and the vineyards were managed and farmed to preserve freshness and aromatics for the making of the rosé. A succulent and pretty Côtes de Provence-styled rosé with an appealing layer of semi-tropical fruits.
